Chris was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois. After graduating from Dixon High School, he attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he majored in History and Secondary Education. Chris continued his education at SIUE, earning a master’s degree in kinesiology. He was a dedicated Dixon Public Schools teacher and high school wrestling coach for over a decade before leaving education and moving on to the private sector. Currently, he works as a grain marketing and crop insurance representative for AgPerspective in Dixon. He is the proud father of two amazing kids and is actively involved in the community. Chris is a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Dixon Elks Lodge, Lee County Farm Bureau, and continues to help coach with the Dixon wrestling program. He was named the Illinois High School Wrestling Coach of the Year in 2017 and was the recipient of the Dixon Chamber Main Street 4 Under 40 award in 2021.

Chris got involved in politics back in 2015 after the City of Dixon faced the largest municipal fraud case in US history. He was part of the city council that oversaw the change in government to the current city manager form and hired Dixon’s first city manager. Currently, he is in his 2nd term on the Dixon City Council. Chris is an official that believes in upholding the Constitution, supporting first responders, building fiscal responsibility, maintaining/upgrading infrastructure, nurturing economic development, and ensuring a quality education for students. He aims to take his common sense approach to Springfield and represent the needs of the 37th District at the state level.

Please consider supporting Chris’s campaign and voting for him in the primary election on March 19th, 2024.
